The latest kid on the block is a site called Hubpages
This is a place where you can write about anything you can imagine - and earn money with it. They have a system in place where they share their income from Google, Amazon, Ebay and Analytics with you. This system could result in you earning hundreds of dollars if you write about something that other people would want to read. It does not even have to be a topic that you think other people would be interested in. Even if you write for your own pleasure, you never know what other people would be attracted to it. There is a woman on Hubpages that made a post about how to make a fleece blanket - and she had so many visitors that she was completely amazed at how many people were interested in that kind of subject. Actually, so was I!
The point is, it does not have to be anything amazing that you are writing about, and you dont have to be the worlds best author or a philosopher. As long as you write in a way that people will enjoy, you will have readers for your material.
